That's why we built CoLive — Bangkok's dedicated roommate matching platform where compatibility, privacy, and safety come first.
CoLive's mission is to make finding a compatible roommate in Bangkok safer, smarter, and more transparent. We believe that shared living works best when both room owners and room seekers know exactly who they're moving in with — before they commit. No guesswork, no spam, no wasted time.
Living in Bangkok as a student or young professional often means choosing between living alone and overpaying, or finding a roommate and taking a risk on a stranger.
Facebook groups make this harder, not easier. Anonymous posts, repeated questions, no transparency about lifestyle habits or personal preferences, and the constant worry about scams or bad intentions.
But here's the truth: a roommate isn't just someone who splits the rent. They're someone you share your home with, see every day, and build a routine around. Before committing to shared living in Bangkok, you deserve to know their lifestyle habits, cleanliness preferences, schedule, and values upfront.
Sharing these details publicly on Facebook isn't safe. CoLive is the solution — a dedicated roommate matching platform in Bangkok where room owners and room seekers can be fully transparent about what matters, without exposing their privacy or personal contact information.
That's why we created CoLive.
University students looking to split rent near their campus, reduce living costs, and find a compatible roommate they can actually live with.
People starting their careers in Bangkok who want affordable, comfortable shared living without the stress of incompatible roommates.
People relocating to Bangkok for work or study who don't have an existing network to find a trustworthy roommate through.
Hospitality, restaurant, and retail workers in Bangkok who need affordable shared living close to their workplace.
CoLive started with a simple frustration. As students living in Bangkok, we spent hours scrolling Facebook groups looking for roommates — messaging strangers, asking the same questions over and over, and still ending up with bad matches because there was no reliable way to know if someone was actually compatible before moving in.
We watched friends go through the same experience. Some ended up in uncomfortable living situations with people whose habits clashed completely with theirs. Others paid too much to live alone because finding a trustworthy roommate felt too risky. A few dealt with outright scams.
The problem wasn't that good roommates didn't exist in Bangkok. The problem was that there was no platform designed to connect them properly.
So we built one. CoLive launched as Bangkok's first compatibility-first roommate matching platform — purpose-built to connect room owners and room seekers by lifestyle, budget, and location, in a safe and transparent way.
CoLive was founded by Kaung and Kelvin, two students at Harbour.Space@UTCC in Bangkok studying High Tech Entrepreneurship.
As students navigating Bangkok's rental market ourselves, we experienced bad roommate situations firsthand and watched friends struggle with unsafe, incompatible, and expensive living arrangements.
We built CoLive because Bangkok's students and young professionals deserve a smarter, safer way to find a compatible roommate — not another Facebook group.
Join the community of students and young professionals in Bangkok who are finding better living situations through smart matching.
