We're building a platform where finding the right roommate doesn't mean compromising your privacy or safety.
Living in Bangkok as a student or young professional often means choosing between living alone and overpaying, or finding a roommate and taking risks.
Traditional Facebook groups make this harder, not easier. Anonymous posts, repeated questions, lack of transparency about rooms or personal habits, and the constant worry about scams or bad intentions.
But here's the truth: a roommate isn't just someone who splits the rent. They're someone you share your home with, see every day, and build a routine around. You deserve to know essential details—lifestyle habits, cleanliness preferences, schedules, age range, and values—before committing.
The problem? Sharing these details publicly on Facebook isn't safe.
The solution? A dedicated platform where you can be transparent about what matters—without exposing your privacy or personal contact information.
That's why we created CoLive.
As students ourselves, we understand the challenges of affording rent in Bangkok—especially for young people from Myanmar and other communities navigating a new city. We've experienced bad roommate situations firsthand, and we've seen friends struggle with unsafe, incompatible, or expensive living arrangements.
